We are seeking a professional and reliable Chauffeur / Driver to support a General Manager of a leading bank in London on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, punctual, and discreet transportation for the executive, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and service at all times.
This role requires excellent driving skills, strong knowledge of London routes, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe, reliable, and professional chauffeur services for the General Manager.
- Ensure punctual pick-ups and drop-offs for meetings, events, and business engagements across London and occasionally surrounding areas.
- Plan efficient routes to avoid delays and ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintain the cleanliness, condition, and presentation of the company vehicle.
- Monitor traffic, road conditions, and travel schedules to optimise journey times.
- Assist with light administrative tasks related to travel (e.g., coordinating timings with the executive’s assistant).
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all work-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver or chauffeur, ideally supporting senior executives or VIPs.
- Strong knowledge of London roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Well-presented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work 10-hour days, 5 days per week, with flexibility if required.
- Previous experience driving senior executives, corporate clients, or VIPs.
- Defensive or advanced driving certification.
- Experience working within corporate or financial services environments.
- Company vehicle provided for all work-related travel.
- The role is based in London, with travel primarily within the city.
