Marley Risk Consultants Ltd are a chartered Loss Adjusters servicing the needs of the Property Latent Defects Insurance market across the UK. Established in 2013, we have offices in Cheltenham, Shrewsbury and London and are going through a period of growth to meet the needs of our expanding client base. We are seeking a creative and results driven Marketing Officer to form part of the wider Operations Team.

As a Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for driving and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services. The Marketing Officer will play a key role in supporting the growth and market presence of Marley Risk Consultants, helping to position the business as a trusted, technically expert partner within the Latent Defects Insurance (LDI) and wider insurance and construction markets.

Working closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts, the role will be responsible for delivering clear, compliant and compelling marketing communications that reflect Marley Risk’s values, technical expertise and customer‑focused approach. The postholder will translate complex insurance and risk propositions into accessible, well‑structured marketing content that supports commercial objectives, brand consistency and client engagement.

The role will support the development and delivery of Marley Risk’s marketing activity across digital channels, client materials, campaigns and thought leadership, ensuring all outputs are aligned to the firm’s strategic objectives, regulatory environment and reputation for quality and integrity.

Key elements of the role include maintaining and developing website and digital content, producing marketing collateral to support business development and new product launches, coordinating campaigns and market communications, and supporting brand management as Marley Risk continues to evolve and expand its presence in the UK market.

The Marketing Officer will also work collaboratively across the business to ensure marketing activity is accurate, timely and reflective of Marley Risk’s technical capabilities, consumer‑focused ethos and commitment to high professional standards. The role requires a proactive, well‑organised individual who is comfortable working in a regulated environment and able to balance creativity with precision and governance requirements.

Key Activities

  • Support the delivery of Marley Risk Consultants’ marketing and brand activity in line with business strategy and growth objectives.
  • Produce, maintain and update marketing content across digital channels, including the website, social media and news or insight articles.
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, capability statements and campaign materials.
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to promote services, product launches and new market propositions.
  • Support brand consistency across all external communications, ensuring alignment with Marley Risk values and tone of voice.
  • Liaise with external suppliers (e.g. designers, digital agencies, printers) where required, ensuring value for money and timely delivery.
  • Track and report on marketing activity, engagement and campaign performance to inform future planning.
  • Ensure marketing activity remains accurate, fair, clear and not misleading, taking account of the regulated nature of the business.

  • Maintain and develop the firm’s digital presence, ensuring content is current, accurate and professionally presented.

  • Act as a central point of coordination for marketing activity across the business, ensuring clarity, consistency and prioritisation.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Marley Risk brand as the business grows and expands into new markets.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively in a fast‑moving, commercially focused environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing, communications or content‑focused role.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Good working knowledge of digital marketing tools and content management systems.
  • A professional, structured and conscientious approach suitable for a regulated or professional services environment.

Desirable

  • Experience within insurance, financial services, construction or another regulated or technical sector.
  • Familiarity with brand management and ensuring consistency across multiple channels.
