Spun out of the University of Oxford and the Royal Veterinary College, we’re building a connected ecosystem for pet health that empowers veterinarians, insurers, and pet parents alike.
The Role - Purpose
We’re looking for a hands-on, self-starting product manager to lead the development of our apps and clinical management software integration. This is a critical and delivery-focused role that blends product strategy with practical build-it, ship-it, learn mentality. You’ll work directly with our internal Marley team and our external partners to bring a new product to market.
What you’ll do – Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of our smart collar app, from concept to commercial launch.
- Develop a deep understanding of your product area, making and communicating effective trade-offs between customer, business, and technology concerns.
- Conduct user and commercial research to understand key user needs, consumer trends, business challenges and translate these into a comprehensive digital product experience.
- Work with the team to translate consumer, clinical and business requirements into clear product specifications and development milestones.
- Support iterative product development including prototype testing, troubleshooting issues, and contribute to product validation.
- Ensure the app and clinical management software integrations work effectively in our broader platform without losing sight of customer needs and speed to market.
- Build excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders throughout the business and inside our partners’ organisations.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications and experience:
- 5+ years of commercial experience in product development including: building and specifying apps on Android and iOS as well as software integration projects with external partners.
- Solid understanding of Agile software delivery.
- Technically competent to influence and understand the solution, context, and approach – you’ll be able to estimate the complexity of work being requested.
Must haves:
- Practical and production focused, you want to take the complex and make it seem simple, usable, engaging.
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in developing apps and software integration products.
- Practical knowledge developing apps that interface with hardware and data transfer between app and device.
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills with experience of building resilient relationships in a hybrid environment and with external partnership dependencies.
Nice to haves:
- Ideally you are user focused, you understand how to create positive user experiences even in complex products.
- You bring enviable written, verbal communication skills and you have experience of building resilient relationships even within hybrid and remote relationships.
- Technically competent to influence and understand the solution, context, and approach to the extent that you are able to estimate the complexity of work.
What you’ll bring:
- A self-starter who is proactive, and thrives in an early-stage environment.
- Not afraid to roll up your sleeves – you enjoy working directly with the tech and solving real-world problems for real users.
- Ability to think creatively, keep an eye on the bigger picture, while straightening out the details.
- You can maintain a sense of urgency and responsibility—this role is about building, not managing.
- Motivated by impact and excited to help build a truly novel product from the ground up.
Why Join Us
- Build a product that sets a new clinical standard in pet health.
- Work alongside a mission driven, no ego team focused on execution and excellence.
- Make meaningful contributions every day – your work will directly shape our core product.
- Join a fast-moving company backed by top-tier investors and world class scientific expertise.
- Competitive salary + office space in London + 25 days holiday + company laptop.
