What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the yard
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards
- Supporting the depot team with materials, tools, and equipment
- Carrying out basic maintenance and checks on yard machinery
- Ensuring stock and supplies are stored correctly and easy to access
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment (preferred but not essential)
- A practical, hands‑on approach with good attention to detail
- Ability to work safely and follow health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Forklift or plant tickets would be an advantage, but training can be provided
