What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Lead and Organize: Take charge of our team of workshop LCV Mechanics, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality workmanship.
  2. Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee scheduled maintenance and tackle those unexpected repairs that keep our fleet running smoothly and add excitement to your day.
  3. Teamwork in Action: Spend your time in the workshop, working alongside your team to conquer daily challenges and optimize vehicle performance.
  4. Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain precise records using our in-house electronic system, because a well-documented fleet is essential for efficiency and compliance.
  5. VOSA Standards Compliance: Ensure that all vehicle maintenance meets VOSA standards, upholding safety and regulatory requirements at all times.
  6. MOT Preparation: Prepare our vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections, ensuring they are roadworthy and compliant.
  7. Expert Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic equipment to expertly identify and solve mechanical problems, enhancing the reliability of our fleet.
  8. Health & Safety Leadership: Champion health and safety practices within the workshop, becoming a health and safety hero for your team and ensuring a safe working environment for all.

What We’re Looking For

  1. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Light/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs.
  2. A knack for diagnosing and fixing faults with confidence.
  3. Full UK driving license (must-have).
  4. HGV license (great to have, but not essential).
  5. Experience with plant mechanics (extra points!).
