Here at Marlborough Highways we have an opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join our team based in Greenwich.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe running of (allocated) sites and monitoring the implementation and control of safe working procedures.
- Prepare and implement risk assessments and method statements.
- Manage/liaise with Sub‑Contractors as appropriate.
- Liaise with Client, at the depot or on site.
- Conduct depot and site Inductions.
- Weekly Health & Safety & Environmental Inspections.
- Issue Works Order and Permits.
- Organise and resource staff labour, plant and materials, so that the works progress effectively and economically.
- Minimise cost of works through correct programming and utilisation of labour, plant, materials and Sub‑Contractors.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the contract plan and procedures, with risk assessments and method statements.
- Check drawings, site instructions, work orders and contract documents and report any anomalies or lack of information.
- Monitor the standard of work of all employees and contractors.
- In conjunction with the Contract Manager or Operations Manager, ensure that the operations are commercially viable.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Prior supervisory experience ideally within a Highways setting.
- Understanding of Highways term maintenance contracts.
- Confident generating and delivering a variety of MI on a monthly basis.
- Driving Licence.
- Strong background in working in accordance with Health and safety policies and procedures.
