Marlborough Highways is an established, independent and dynamic civil engineering company with 30 years of industry experience and expertise in public realm, regeneration and infrastructure projects. We work with Councils, Local Authorities and Contractors in London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and the South East, delivering pioneering multi-million-pound trials and rollouts for large programmes and phased schemes through to smaller one-off projects.
Apprentices will be permanent employees at Marlborough Highways.
- Excavate and reinstate highways by carrying out maintenance and repair tasks
- Remove material within roads or adjacent areas using hand or power tools
- Undertake both reactive and planned maintenance on rural and urban roads
- Read, interpret, and work to drawings, specifications, and highway information
- Prepare and operate powered tools or pedestrian plant machinery (rollers, mixers, compressors)
Block release at College, once a month. Monday to Friday, typically 7.00am - 4.00pm.
