Are you an organised, detail-focused person, experienced in business administration? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Performance team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy office environment and can hit the ground running. You’ll play a key part in helping us deliver accurate monthly reports to our clients, supporting meetings, and keeping our systems and trackers up to date.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
- Organising meetings & writing meeting notes
- Collecting vital data and statistics from all areas of the business
- Updating monthly reports using PowerPoint and Excel
- Transferring information from internal systems into reporting files
- Assisting the team to keep within agreed timeframes
- Double-checking information to spot errors and flagging them for correction
- Adhoc digital filing and organising documentation
- Keeping trackers up to date with good news, feedback, and actions
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Great communicator, confident on the phones and able to speak to stakeholders from all parts of the business
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and willing to learn new systems
- Careful and accurate, with strong attention to detail
- Clear written communication skills for summarising information
- Organised and reliable, with a professional approach
- Trustworthy with sensitive information
- Experience in previous administration roles
Desirable:
- Familiarity with creating meeting minutes/actions
- Interest in highways, operations, performance reporting, H&S, sustainability, or commercial reporting
- Experience using databases or pulling reports (training provided)
- Access to own transport to get to and from the office (public transport can be lengthy)
