What you’ll do: Responsible for running the planning, execution, and governance of the transformation programme within the Marketing function. This role ensures delivery of measurable outcomes aligned to business objectives and supports the implementation of a robust governance framework to track progress, manage risks, and report effectively to relevant sponsors.
- Run the end-to-end delivery of the Marketing Transformation programme, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Define programme scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams with Online, Digital & Tech & Foods.
- Develop and embed a governance framework to ensure structured programme oversight, decision-making, and risk management.
- Establish and maintain reporting and meeting cadences to track progress and escalate issues proactively.
- Lead programme meetings and ensure timely submission of progress reports, investment updates, and performance metrics.
- Manage senior stakeholders across Marketing, IT, Finance, Online and external partners to ensure alignment, buy-in, and collaboration.
- Facilitate change management by working closely with impacted teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Identify programme-level risks and dependencies, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure resource allocation is aligned with priorities.
- Manage programme budgets, including supplier-spend, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.
- Timely delivery of programme milestones against scope and budget.
- Clear and transparent reporting with no surprises.
- Demonstrable improvements in marketing effectiveness, efficiency, and capability as per business cases.
Who you are: Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional transformation programmes (ideally in Marketing, Digital or Commercial BUs). Strong understanding of marketing operations, technology, and data-driven decision-making. Expertise in programme governance, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Prince2), and reporting frameworks. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, drive clarity, and lead change. Professional qualification in Programme / Project Management (e.g., MSP, PMP) would be desirable. Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g. Adobe, HubSpot) and data tools (e.g. Power BI) would be an advantage. Experience working with external consultants or marketing agencies.
