Summary
We're looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Manager - Master Data to play a key role in delivering M&S's SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
Sitting within the Finance transformation team, you'll help shape how Finance master data is designed, governed and controlled across the future SAP landscape.
This role is ideal for someone with strong Finance experience who understands the importance of accurate, well-governed data in enabling clean financial processes, robust reporting and strong control.
You'll work closely with Finance, Technology, Data Migration and Programme teams to ensure master data is fit for purpose, aligned to S/4HANA standards and ready to support the business through transformation and beyond.
Post the 3 year programme there will be further projects, as M&S continues to transform and drive change.
There will be a variety of options including the Master Data team, the Continuous Improvement team as well as the roles in the Technology teams supporting Finance
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
What you'll do
- Shape Finance master data design across key areas including GL, Chart of Accounts, cost centres, profit centres, internal orders, fixed assets and Business Partner data.
Post Design, support testing, readiness, cutover and early life support, ensuring Finance data is accurate, controlled and embedded into future ways of working.
- Define data standards, governance processes and controls to improve data quality, reduce risk and support accurate financial reporting.
- Support the migration of Finance data from ECC to S/4HANA, including data assessment, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation and cutover readiness.
- Partner across Finance, Data Migration, Functional Design and Integration teams to manage dependencies across RTR, P2P, O2C and wider business processes.
- Post the programme there will be further projects, as M&S continues to transform and drive change.
There are a variety of options including the Master Data team, the Continuous Improvement team as well as the roles in the Technology teams supporting Finance.
Who you are
- Strong SAP Finance experience, ideally across ECC and/or S/4HANA, with a good understanding of core Finance processes.
- Proven experience working with Finance master data, data migration, governance and control in a transformation environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance requirements and the role master data plays in enabling accurate Finance outcomes.
- Ability to work confidently across business and technical teams, translating Finance requirements into practical data and process solutions.
- Ideally a qualified accountant, or someone with strong equivalent Finance experience gained in a complex organisation.
