This role will play a key part in delivering Store Hub - a flagship, AI enabled platform designed to simplify, prioritise and improve the day to day experience for store colleagues. Working as part of a broader Store Hub product team, the Product Manager will own one or more product areas (for example: Help Hub, Next Best Action, Communications to Store Colleagues, or Labour Management), partnering closely with engineering, data, design and third party suppliers to deliver meaningful outcomes for stores. This role sits in a team led by a Senior Product Manager who holds the overall Store Hub vision and roadmap, and is part of a high profile programme sponsored by the Retail Director, with significant senior stakeholder engagement. Successful applicants will be passionate about improving the experience of store colleagues and motivated by solving real, operational problems at scale.
What you’ll do
- Own the vision, roadmap and backlog for a Store Hub product area, translating store and business needs into clear, prioritised outcomes.
- Balance discovery and delivery, leading sprint planning and backlog refinement while owning outcomes across in house and third party teams.
- Partner with data, analytics and vendors to design and deliver trusted, explainable AI enabled capabilities that add real value for store colleagues.
- Collaborate closely with stores, Store Operations and cross functional teams to test, iterate and embed solutions in real world environments.
- Measure success through colleague experience and operational impact, continuously improving products with a strong focus on accessibility and simplicity.
Who you are
- Strong understanding of store operations and compliance, with experience supporting digital tools for audits, safety, incidents and evidence management.
- Proven ability to gather and document requirements, working closely with store and central teams and explaining changes clearly to non technical audiences.
- Experience supporting product delivery, including backlog refinement, UAT, releases and post go live support in a live retail environment.
- Confident stakeholder manager with strong organisation, prioritisation and problem solving skills, comfortable owning actions and managing risk and controls.
- Data literate, collaborative team player with solid Microsoft 365 skills and a clear interest in developing a career in product and modern agile ways of working.
