The Network Solution Design Manager will play a critical part in the Fashion, Home & Beauty Supply Chain & Logistics transformation, leading the design of end to end network solutions across distribution centres, stores, fulfilment locations and transport networks, including final mile. The focus is on creating resilient, scalable and cost‑effective logistics solutions that balance service, proposition and efficiency. This role will help shape network designs that translate strategic ambition into practical, real‑world outcomes, using data‑driven insight to simplify complexity, optimise performance and support long term growth. Close collaboration with internal teams and external partners helps drive alignment, clarity and momentum across the transformation programme.

NB: This role will involve travel across our distribution Network and the successful candidate can be based out of one of our Distribution Centres dependant on their location.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for ensuring network solution designs support achieving FH&B strategic ambitions.
  • Own the solution design and associated outcome with solutions reflecting real world application including known challenges around labour, forecast accuracy, transport congestion etc.
  • Define the blueprint and standard operating model across the network, including distribution centres, stores, fulfilment locations and transport networks (incl final mile).
  • Identify opportunities for improvement including simplification of network complexity, improved visibility and control, service / prop improvement and cost reduction / optimisation.
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders — including Business Units, 3PLs, and Operational Leads — to support the development of the Supply Chain & Logistics transformation programme, ensuring alignment, transparency, and resolution of cross‑functional challenges.

Who you are

  • End‑to‑end logistics network design expertise, spanning distribution, fulfilment, transport and last mile operations, with experience designing integrated, scalable solutions.
  • Strong operational and technical understanding, including DC/FC processes, automation applications, and working knowledge of WMS, TMS and related supply chain systems.
  • Commercial and analytical capability, with the ability to interpret complex data, understand cost drivers and trade‑offs, and build clear, value based recommendations.
  • Able to demonstrate a structured problem‑solving and delivery approach, applying practical thinking to complex challenges, supported by sound change management and programme/project methodologies (e.g. Prince2, Agile).
  • An influential communicator and collaborator, skilled at engaging diverse stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear messages, and driving alignment across teams and partners.
