A technically confident individual, comfortable using tools such as Excel, Power BI and AI-driven solutions to drive efficiency and impact.

The ideal candidate will be a structured problem solver with excellent stakeholder skills, able to influence, challenge constructively and communicate clearly across a wide network. A resilient, self-motivated mindset is key, thriving in ambiguity, working at pace and continuously seeking opportunities to improve, challenge the status quo and deliver measurable outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape transformation at scale, champion best practice, and build a culture that celebrates progress while continuously challenging the status quo.

NB The role will be based from one of our Logistics hubs (Bradford, Castle Donington or Welham Green) but most of the time will be spent working in partnership with our 3PL's on sites across the country so the successful candidate must be prepared to travel.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Drive meaningful, data-led improvements across a national warehouse network, partnering closely with 3PL teams to deliver tangible results at both site and network level.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end CI pipeline, leading structured review rhythms and ensuring initiatives are prioritised, progressed and delivering measurable benefits.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of cross-functional stakeholders, aligning Operations, Finance and external partners to maximise impact and delivery.
  • Shape the future of warehouse operations by influencing WMS development, driving standardisation and simplifying processes across multiple sites.
  • Lead end-to-end problem solving, turning complex operational and retail challenges into clear, scalable solutions that improve performance and enhance the end customer experience.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Strong data analytics capability, using tools such as Excel and Power BI to interrogate data, identify trends, and establish root causes that inform practical, value driven solutions.
  • Technically proficient with digital tools and platforms (e.g. SharePoint, AI/Copilot, automation, data visualisation) to enhance efficiency, insight generation and stakeholder communication.
  • Structured problem-solver with the ability to translate complex data and business challenges into clear, actionable improvement plans and scalable solutions.
  • Confident stakeholder collaborator, building effective networks to challenge constructively, align on priorities and drive continuous improvement outcomes at pace.
  • Resilient and adaptable mindset, thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a focus on continuous learning, iterative delivery and measurable impact.

What’s in it for you:

  • 20% colleague discount on all M&S products and many third-party brands for you and someone in your household, available once you have completed your probation.
  • Competitive holiday allowance with the option to buy more.
  • Discretionary bonus schemes linked to your performance and ours.
  • Strong pension and life assurance to help plan for the future.
  • Tailored induction and training to support your development from day one.
  • Exclusive perks and savings through our M&S Choices portal.
  • Market-leading family policies, including parental, adoption and neonatal leave.
  • 24/7 wellbeing support, including virtual GP access and mental health services.
