Customer Assistant – Warehouse Operations – Gateshead Team Valley

Temporary Position, 16 Hours

This job role involves working early mornings, operating specialist equipment and using harmful cleaning agents. This means we can\’t consider applications from anyone under the age of 18. This is to comply with the relevant health and safety legislation and to keep our colleagues safe in the workplace.

1. Monday 04:00-08:00
2. Tuesday 04:00-08:00
3. Friday 04:00-08:00
4. Saturday 04:00-08:00

Role Overview:
Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in Warehouse Operations, where you\’ll play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly behind the scenes. We\’re looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in ensuring our products are delivered, organised, and ready for our colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Accepting deliveries and unpacking goods.
2. Preparing crates to ensure our shop floor is fully stocked.
3. Using in-store systems and tools to track deliveries and manage stock.
4. Working closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth operation.

Qualifications:

1. Being digitally confident.
2. Ability to work flexibly across various operational tasks.
3. Strong team player skills.
