Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a FLEX Security Officer at the Toyota Manufacturing Plant! $17.50 p/hr. This is a Part Time - FLEX Hours role that REQUIRES FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS, and SUNDAYS - NO EXCEPTIONS. Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields.

What You'll Do:
- Rover — Vehicle/foot patrols; deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity
- Gatehouse — Access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors
- Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements

Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
- Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
- Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
- Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
- Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behaviour to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and/or other criminal behaviour
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
- Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and/or in possession of prohibited items
- Respond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
- Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
- Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
- Other duties to be determined by management
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid state licensing
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritise assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Minimum of one year of security experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
- This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
