The Senior Project Manager provides day to day support to the Client Service Team, whilst collaborating with our Creative, Operations and Production teams, playing a critical role in driving project success. This individual will leverage in-depth project management expertise, a thorough understanding of creative and design project workflows (with focus on packaging), and strategic talent identification to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.

As a senior figure within the team, this role demands not only a hands-on approach to projects but also mentorship of junior team members when required, fostering a culture of excellence and growth. As Senior Project Manager at Marks, you will benefit from being part of a growing, global agency, and will have the opportunity to take advantage of outstanding career development opportunities. You will also enjoy a great working culture, where fun is at the forefront of everything we do, whilst working alongside, and learning from, some of the most talented individuals in our industry. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to truly shape the role of Senior Project Manager within the Marks business.

The Senior Project Manager will need to showcase an ability to work within teams, as well as demonstrate the independence and resourcefulness demanded by an agile and highly dynamic agency environment. As a strong communicator, you will be able to facilitate communication with all stakeholders efficiently and effectively.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage a vast array of projects from inception through completion, ensuring they achieve the desired quality, meet deadlines, and adhere to studio processes.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and workflows, identifying the necessary talent and resources to achieve project success.
  • Serve as a key liaison among client/client service, internal stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct detailed quality assurance checks, ensuring all deliverables meet client briefs and company standards before final delivery.
  • Proactively identify and address potential project roadblocks, providing strategic solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Foster a collaborative and agile work environment, demonstrating independence and resourcefulness while also promoting teamwork.
  • Oversee and contribute to process improvement initiatives, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across client service and internal projects.
  • Mentor, guide, and support junior project management staff, leading by example and encouraging professional development.
  • Can lead both client and internal meetings, confidently presenting project statuses, plans, and outcomes.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation that can be shared with other internal employees and team when required.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project tracker to monitor and track progress.
  • Oversee changes to the project scope, timeline, and costs (working with the CS team to ensure all costs are captured).
  • Successfully manage and own multiple projects and high-volume deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally you'll have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Graphic Management Services, or a related field.
  • Significant and proven experience in project management within a design agency or similar environment, with a strong emphasis on brand and pack projects.
  • Proficient understanding of brand and packaging design requirements, including print-production basic knowledge, i.e. Flexo, Litho, and Gravure printing processes.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, showcasing initiative, a passion for learning, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will enjoy an excellent base salary, along with the other benefits of working for Marks including 25 days annual leave, pension, healthcare scheme, and life assurance.
