We are looking for a true people person who can delight and wow our customers from the moment they walk in to the hotel. The selected candidate will become a part of our brilliant Front Office team who always strive to deliver the best service for our guests while working in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibility:
The selected candidate will be a key player in helping our guests make the most of their stay at the hotel. You will be an ambassador for Delta Hotels by Marriott by providing Purposeful Service in a warm, wise and in-control manner.
What you\’ll be doing
- Greet guests with a warm welcome on arrival and bid them a fond farewell on leaving. Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
- Run shifts, assisting other employees to ensure prompt guest service.
- Assist the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis.
- Proactively engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.
- Provide information to guests about: outlets, staff and services, including hours of operation, room locations, types of rooms, room rates and discounts.
- Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
- Process payments and follow all payment and cash handling procedures.
- Train, coach and manage the Front Office team in order to support engagement and opportunity.
