What you'll do

As the VM Visualiser, you are responsible for delivering 3D visuals of all instore touch points relevant to campaigns -from windows & first bites, through to department elevation.

You will inform the design, production and implementation in store, enabling a clear, on brand and inspirational solution which elevates the customer experience to drive commercial impact.

  • Responsible for delivering the instore creative VM response for the season in line with campaign briefs
  • Works to create a clear handwriting for instore, in line with the brand creative direction, via the formats of windows, first bites and key seasonal department elevation
  • Shapes the principles (of space, kit, product, mannequins) with key stakeholders, delivering a clear VM identity for M&S
  • Works with Instore Marketing to determine formats by grade / store concepts, which can be scaled
  • Responsible for managing the timelines of Marketing briefs and delivering to the required engagement and sign off process, with a cost conscious lens on all proposals
  • Takes ownership of visualizing end to end creative campaigns which span the whole store i. e. Christmas
  • Has a good awareness of cross BU activity and flags opportunities to drive efficiencies / synergy
  • Responsible for briefing in sample / prototypes
  • Always champions our customer, by relating everything back to the customer and how it engages / inspires / enables ease of shop.
  • Regularly reviews instore delivery to understand impact of designs and obtains feedback to support ongoing
  • Be the creative expert within the team ensuring awareness of key market trends and competitor analysis
  • Use Ai tools to support development of concepts, planning and identifying trends
  • Stay informed on emerging Ai capabilities and share best practice to drive innovation and continues improvement across the instore experience function
  • Support the delivery the of an elevated customer experience within Renewal Stores

Who you are

  • Strong creative skills and ability to articulate vision
  • Strong understanding of retail spaces / concepts and application of creative elements in store
  • Good understanding of VM & Styling basics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good commercial awareness
  • High level of practical design skills and confidence in all supporting software e. g. Sketchup, Ai Tools, Miro, excel, powerpoint, indesign, Adobe Suite
