As a Senior Designer for Per Una, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering the creative vision for one of M&S’s most distinctive womenswear brands. Per Una embodies a youthful spirit and effortless desirability, expressed through a modern boho aesthetic, artisanal craft, fluid silhouettes, textured detail and confident femininity. Working across multiple product categories, you’ll lead the creation of commercially strong, trend-led ranges that feel expressive, customer-focused and true to the Per Una identity. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, agile and commercially minded designer with strong taste level, multi-product experience and the confidence to inspire teams, influence stakeholders and bring fresh ideas to life at pace.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the design and development of multi-product womenswear ranges, ensuring a strong and consistent handwriting across categories.
  • Use customer insight, trade performance and sales information to shape commercially relevant ranges and support strong range architecture.
  • Bring a high taste level and refined eye for colour, fabric, proportion, detail and finish to deliver distinctive, desirable product.
  • Manage, coach and develop design team members, providing clear direction and supporting creative and commercial growth.
  • Work closely with suppliers and sourcing partners, including through supplier travel where required, to develop product in line with brand, quality, cost and customer expectations.

Who you are

  • Multi-product design expertise, able to design across a broad product range with strong creative judgement.
  • People leadership and line management, experienced in coaching, developing and managing design talent.
  • High taste level and strong creative eye, refined understanding of style, colour, fabric, proportion and detail.
  • Customer focus, able to translate customer insight, lifestyle shifts and market awareness into relevant product opportunities.
  • Commercial range understanding, confident using trade and sales information to inform range architecture and support commercial decision-making.
  • Expert-level CAD skills: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
