We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Regional People Partner to support M&S stores across the Home Counties South, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire regions. This role partners 2 Regional Managers and works closely with Store Managers and central People teams to deliver people outcomes that contribute to strong regional performance.
You will lead a Learning Partner and People Manager, working together to deliver the People Plan for your regions. Partnering with leadership teams and line managers, you will identify people solutions that support business needs. A key part of this role is supporting leaders to build people capability and foster a high-performance culture.
The role spans our Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Home County South regions, with an expectation to work in stores four days per week. Occasional weekend working will be required in line with business needs.
What You Will Do- Partner with regional and store leaders, providing guidance on people matters and ensuring consistent delivery of M&S standards across employee relations, talent, recruitment, onboarding, development and colleague experience.
- Lead the regional People Plan with a focus on performance, capability building, cultural development and colleague engagement.
- Coach and develop leaders to build high performing teams, strengthen succession pipelines and support organisational change through clear communication and colleague support.
- Use data and insight to inform decisions, identify opportunities for improvement and enhance regional and store performance.
- Work collaboratively with central People teams, promote M&S behaviours, build strong relationships across stores and support continuous improvement through inclusion, feedback and cultural development.
- An experienced People Partner or HR professional from a multi-site or fast paced environment, commercially aware and able to connect people activity with business outcomes.
- A skilled coach and influencer, able to work effectively with senior leaders, provide constructive challenge and build strong, trusting relationships at all levels.
- Competent in using data and insight to inform decisions, drive improvements and support prioritisation across a broad regional remit.
- Resilient, adaptable and effective in environments with continual variety and change, with strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain focus.
