Description

What You Will Do

  • Lead the learning experience for all colleague groups, including early careers, apprenticeships and senior hires, ensuring a consistent and high-quality development journey.
  • Manage regional My Welcome hubs and employability programmes, delivering exceptional onboarding experiences and coordinating learning events across the region.
  • Support regional talent through learning programmes, providing ongoing development support and ensuring all learning plans are executed accurately through the Customer Assistant Learning team.
  • Line manage and coach Customer Assistant Learning colleagues, ensuring clear development plans are in place and Academy principles are consistently delivered.
  • Drive completion of mandatory e-learning and ensure learning capacity, resources and programmes support legal compliance and business requirements.
  • Champion technical and behavioural learning initiatives, partnering with store leadership teams to support transformation projects, store openings, closures and renewals.
  • Monitor learner and manager feedback, using insight and data to continuously improve the learning experience and Academy offer.

  • Experience managing learning plans, development programmes and compliance-based training activity.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure excellent execution.
  • Experience using data and feedback to measure learning effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • A passion for developing talent and building capability, with an understanding of colleague development, apprenticeships and early careers programmes.
