We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager - Online to play a pivotal role in driving profitable transformation and growth across our international Online business. Covering both Direct to Customer and Marketplace platforms, this role sits at the heart of commercial decision‑making, partnering closely with Online, Supply Chain, Legal and Compliance teams.
This is a high‑impact role for a commercially minded finance leader who is curious, tenacious and brave, someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex numbers and turning insight into action. You’ll have real influence on strategy, performance and value creation.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Lead end‑to‑end financial ownership for the Online channel, covering budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, balance sheet and controls, ensuring delivery of revenue, profit and cash flow targets through strong financial governance and compliance with policies, platform agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a senior finance business partner to Online Commercial teams, supporting deal structuring and renegotiation of platform agreements, maximising customer lifetime value (acquisition, retention, frequency, AOV and conversion), and driving cost efficiencies across marketing, returns, stock flow and value‑added services.
- Deliver robust financial modelling and strategic insight to assess Online performance, support growth initiatives, inform pricing strategies, royalty structures and incentive programmes, and enable sound commercial decision‑making.
- Provide performance analysis and insight, monitoring key metrics including revenue, margin and returns, delivering weekly trade analysis with clear response actions, and producing monthly and quarterly performance reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement and strategic projects, identifying risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions, supporting contractual financial models and post‑investment reviews, and enhancing financial processes, reporting and controls across Online operations.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in Online / digital channels.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Highly analytical, confident working with data to deliver accurate, insightful analysis.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a strong focus on controls and governance.
- Forward‑thinking, able to anticipate future requirements and shape current plans.
