In this role, you will be accountable for the governance, lifecycle management, and Health & Safety compliance of four critical test environments across Bracknell, Chennai, Waterside, and Edgware Road. Operating across a diverse and distributed estate, you will ensure each environment remains safe, optimised, and fit-for-purpose, supporting both current operational needs and future technology ambitions.

You will act as a key enabler for emerging technology pilots, creating the conditions for innovation to be tested and proven while maintaining robust standards, controls, and compliance. Balancing innovation with risk, you will provide clear oversight and direction to ensure environments are managed effectively throughout their lifecycle, from introduction through to decommissioning.

Working closely with technology, delivery, and operational stakeholders, you will bring clarity, structure, and assurance to complex environments. Through strong governance and a proactive approach to Health & Safety, you will help ensure that test environments consistently support high-quality outcomes, enable experimentation, and remain resilient, efficient, and compliant.

What you'll do:

  • Governance of environment usage, booking, and change control.
  • Maintain asset lifecycle visibility; retire obsolete kit promptly, ensure Health & Safety compliance across all sites.
  • Collaborate with product teams to plan space for emerging tech pilots.
  • Coordinate with store teams for Bracknell and Edgware Road environments.
  • Perform regular audits for readiness, compliance, and optimisation, report on utilisation, incidents, and lifecycle status to leadership.

Who you are:

  • Strong understanding of store technology stacks (POS, IoT, RFID, CCTV).
  • Experience in environment and release management.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and RAMS.
  • Ability to manage asset lifecycle and coordinate refresh cycles.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, awareness of emerging technologies and incubation processes.
