This is a fantastic opportunity to join our International Finance team as a Finance Manager, partnering with our Online and Logistics teams to support profitable growth, operational excellence and smart commercial decision-making across international markets.

You’ll play a key role in helping the business understand performance across our Direct-to-Consumer, Marketplace and Logistics operations, turning data into clear insight and supporting decisions that improve sales, margin, cost control and customer outcomes.

This role sits at the heart of a fast-moving, commercially exciting area of M&S, with real scope to influence growth, shape performance conversations and improve how we plan, report and operate.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Act as the finance business partner for the International Online and Logistics teams, providing commercial insight, financial control and analytical support to drive profitable growth and support effective strategic decision-making.
  • Own weekly trade reporting and performance reviews, producing clear, actionable insight on Online and Supply Chain performance, including risks, opportunities and key business drivers.
  • Support profitable sales growth across D2C and Marketplace channels by monitoring acquisition, retention, frequency, conversion and average order value, while challenging pricing, proposition and marketing investment decisions to improve return on investment.
  • Analyse fulfilment, logistics, returns costs, stock flows and inventory movements to support launches, availability and cost-to-serve opportunities across Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and P&L reporting for Online and Supply Chain, building driver-based financial models, scenario plans and concise commentary across sales, margin, costs and working capital.
  • Develop business cases and investment appraisals for growth initiatives and expansion opportunities, supporting post-investment reviews and marketplace, logistics and 3PL contract governance.
  • Standardise and improve Online and Supply Chain finance processes, using systems and automation to improve reporting quality, efficiency and decision-making.

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong commercial acumen and experience business partnering across complex organisations.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to turn large and complex data sets into clear, actionable insight that drives business performance.
  • Excellent financial modelling, planning and forecasting skills, with a track record of supporting informed commercial decision-making.
  • Confident influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders, building strong relationships across both Finance and the wider business.
  • A proactive and continuous improvement mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve controls, reporting, processes and ways of working.
  • Experience working within retail, e-commerce, supply chain or logistics environments would be advantageous.
