Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Equipment implementation and resource management - Lead the planning and delivery of equipment implementation activity across the programme of works. Align Fixture Management and implementation resource to project demand, ensuring availability, capability and performance support successful delivery.
  • Equipment Consolidation Centre ownership - Own the operational performance, governance and continuous improvement of the Equipment Consolidation Centre. Ensure equipment storage, consolidation, inventory control, call-off, transport planning and delivery sequencing are managed safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
  • ECC operational controls and improvement – Work with Demand Planning team to maintain clear processes for stock visibility, equipment readiness, movement control, issue resolution and service performance. Work with internal teams and suppliers to reduce avoidable handling, improve delivery accuracy, support reuse opportunities and minimise disruption to stores and sites.
  • Continuous improvement - Develop and maintain a clear improvement plan for equipment implementation. Work collaboratively with M&S colleagues, contractors and suppliers to improve quality, delivery performance, customer outcomes, operational efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Standardisation and ways of working - Build and maintain processes and procedures that support a consistent approach to implementation across all equipment delivery programmes. Drive a consistent delivery culture focused on Right First Time processes.
  • Operational readiness and delivery assurance - Establish implementation controls, checklists and governance processes covering project readiness, equipment availability, logistics, installation quality, issue management and handover. Ensure learnings are captured and applied from one project to the next.
  • Performance management and KPI governance - Build and maintain KPIs aligned with M&S project goals. Use performance data to measure quality, efficiency, accountability, cost effectiveness, supplier performance and right-first-time delivery, ensuring measures are challenging, realistic and actionable.
  • Stakeholder and supplier management - Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers on project and programme delivery. Highlight opportunities, risks and issues with clear mitigation, escalation and resolution plans to support achievement of key milestones.
  • Commercial and supplier performance - Support commercial governance through supplier engagement, benchmarking, scope clarity, performance reviews and improvement activity. Work with Procurement, Cost Management and delivery partners to achieve value whilst maintaining delivery standards.

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Project and programme management experience within a multi-site delivery environment.
  • Strong understanding of store development, fit-out, equipment delivery, logistics, installation and operational handover.
  • Experience managing suppliers, contractors or third-party delivery partners through clear expectations, governance and performance measures.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong planning, organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities.
  • Excellent digital capability, including the use of shared trackers, action logs, dashboards and collaboration tools to improve transparency and accountability.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to identify practical opportunities to improve value, reduce waste, simplify ways of working and support effective budget management.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to turn lessons learnt into practical process improvements and measurable actions.
