You will be telephone based using Microsoft Teams and our telephony system, spending your time supporting and coaching line managers and Business Involvement Group (BIG) Representatives. Providing high level advice and guidance to ensure risk to the business is understood and mitigated with regards to people management, policy and decision making while considering the overall commercial impact to the business. You’ll be managing your own case load, offering dedicated long-term absence support to line managers while promoting a positive Employee Relations environment, developing and coaching them with legal compliance and consistent best processes. You will also connect with HR People Partners, keeping them updated on your regionally assigned cases. To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office four days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

Your key accountabilities will include:
- Support and coach our Line Managers & BIG rep’s with people policy advice over the telephone.
- Provide support to our managers with all formal people policy related letters and reports.
- Build relationships with colleagues and business partners to enable you to constructively advise on options and risks.
- Support our managers with long term absence across a business area.
- Employee relations experience to enable you to provide people policy advice on a wide range of employee relations issues.
Your skills and experience will include:
- Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Excellent excel skills to enable you to provide insight into regional people data and trends.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to easily build a connection with colleagues over the telephone.
