What you’ll do Working closely with the Senior Social Media Manager – Menswear, you’ll help manage the newly launched dedicated M&S Menswear social media account, playing a key role in growing its audience, refining its tone of voice, and building a strong sense of community.
From creating content that drives fame for our hero products to sparking viral social moments, you’ll be instrumental in building a digital space where fashion, function, and personality meet. Your key accountabilities will include… Roles and Responsibilities Content Creation & Scheduling. Assist in planning, writing, and scheduling content across all key social channels.
Help adapt campaign and editorial content for specific formats such as Reels, TikToks, and carousels. Support in producing platform-specific content that drives attention—whether showcasing new product launches or jumping on trending formats. Community & Platform Support.
Monitor daily activity across social platforms—engaging with followers, identifying key conversations, and flagging opportunities for reactive content. Help build a strong, engaged menswear community through timely responses and platform interaction. Keep up with emerging trends and competitor activity—bringing fresh ideas to the team that can drive reach and engagement.
Influencer & Campaign Assistance. Support the execution of influencer and ambassador campaigns, including coordination, tracking, and day-to-day comms. Help manage gifting, seeding, and campaign deliverables across brand and PR activations.
Maintain influencer contact lists and support in campaign performance analysis. Reporting & Insights. Assist with weekly and monthly performance tracking using tools like Sprinklr, Meta, and TikTok analytics.
Support the creation of reports that highlight key successes, viral content, and learnings. Help identify content trends that can support the growth of the menswear account and increase hero product visibility. Team & Shoot Support.
Attend content shoots and support on-the-day logistics and behind-the-scenes coverage. Work cross-functionally with teams across creative, PR, ecommerce, buying, and more to ensure content aligns with wider campaign goals. Provide general support across team operations, content planning, and special projects.
Who you are We’re looking for a creative and driven Assistant Social Media Manager to support the growth of M&S Menswear across our social platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our menswear presence online through bold, trend-led content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. Your skills and experience will include… Experience working in a social media, content, or digital marketing role.
This is not a direct entry role. A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, with a passion for storytelling and community building. Experience supporting social-first campaigns and producing content that performs across multiple formats.
