What you’ll do
The role of the Assistant Online Merchandising Manager is to put the customer at the heart of our digital experience. You will own the online shop for your business unit across UK and ROI websites — day to day trade the site, partner with online commercial managers, and deliver the trading strategy.
- A commercially minded and results-driven professional with a strong passion for site merchandising and enhancing the customer journey, empowered by data-led decision-making, strategic thinking, attention to detail, and collaborative communication.
- Build strong partnerships with Online Commercial Managers to ensure effective delivery of the trade plan.
- Own day to day trade, using daily metrics to understand and improve the customer experience.
- Build cross functional relationships, collaborating but also ability to challenge, to ensure campaigns and key trading moments are optimised.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end experience is seamless.
- Manage workload of offshore to ensure delivery of high-quality standards and within timelines.
- Ensure all key trading events are flawlessly executed onsite, delivering a cohesive and engaging customer experience that maximises conversion and aligns with commercial and marketing objectives.
- Deliver improvements to the onsite journey using data and insights to enhance customer experience and performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, using data to drive decisions, from post-implementation reviews (PIRs) to monthly deep dives.
