As a Senior Product Designer at M&S, you’ll work across the entire product lifecycle – from concept to delivery and beyond. You’ll be part of our passionate Product Design and UX Research team, directing and creating sophisticated experiences for our mobile and tablet apps across iOS and Android. What you'll do

  • Create everything from information architecture diagrams and wireframes to stunning visual design and animations – bringing ideas to life with user-focused brand experiences.
  • Turn insights into action by using research, testing, and analytics to iterate and optimise designs for A/B or multivariate experiments.
  • Build relationships with product, trade, engineering, and marketing to deliver solutions that make a real impact for customers and the business.
  • Build confidence and alignment in design direction by leading cross-functional workshops, presentations, and creative collaboration sessions that keep ideas flowing.
  • Contribute to the future of our design system, leading the way in app patterns and components for native mobile and tablet.

Who you are

  • You have extensive experience designing B2C native apps for millions of customers.
  • You have a great sense of style and taste across fashion, homeware, beauty, and food – with a discerning eye for detail.
  • You have deep knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design – you know how to customise app experiences to elevate the brand experience.
  • You stay up to date with the latest in smart tech – evolving with the patterns, languages, and technologies that make them shine.
  • You love building relationships and finding creative ways to work with colleagues that have a range of different expertise and working styles.
