As the Head of Analytics for the Retail business, your primary purpose is to lead and shape the analytics strategy, vision, and initiatives within our organisation. You will be at the forefront of driving data‑driven decision‑making, harnessing the power of data to deliver transformative insights that guide strategic direction, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation. You will drive the data transformation by enabling the democratisation of data and information through the delivery of analytical and data self‑service solutions. Encouraging and facilitating a culture of data‑driven decision‑making, whilst demonstrating the commercial benefits of a data and analytical‑driven approach.
Who you are
- Oversee the development and execution of advanced analytical methodologies and data solutions, ensuring that data‑driven insights provide a competitive edge.

What you will do
Your primary purpose is to lead and shape the analytics strategy, vision, and initiatives within our retail organisation, harnessing the power of data to deliver transformative insights that guide strategic direction, enhance operational efficiency, and foster innovation. You will oversee the development and execution of advanced analytical methodologies and solutions whilst having overall accountability for delivery and benefit realisation. You will be responsible for leading, evangelising, and championing the adoption of our data platform and analytical technologies, staying up to date with emerging trends and cutting‑edge technologies in data analytics and artificial intelligence. You will be instrumental in the continuous improvement of data‑driven processes, promoting data integrity, quality, and consistency. You will have extensive experience in analytics management and leadership within retail, with excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical individuals including director level.
