We are currently looking for a talented and passionate Junior Kitchenware Designer to join our Homeware team at Marks & Spencer. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic Design team responsible for delivering an inspiring, trend-led home vision across our kitchenware categories. As a Junior Designer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our kitchenware range, helping to bring innovative, commercially successful products to life. We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for design, a passion for home products, and the drive to elevate product success to the next level.

What you’ll do:
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Take ownership of defined product areas within the range and design products under the direction of the Designer / Design Lead to meet commercial objectives, quality standards and target price points.
- Work closely with Buying, Technical and Product Development teams to agree the range and create accurate technical packs through PLM.
- Create clear design boards and presentations that communicate product concepts, materials and finishes.
- Research global kitchenware trends, competitor ranges and materials, identifying relevant opportunities for the M&S customer.
- Participate in product reviews and product assessments, making considered recommendations to improve product performance, durability and quality.
Who you are:
Your skills and experience will include:
- Design experience within kitchenware, homeware or hard goods product design, ideally within a retail or manufacturing environment.
- Confident CAD skills with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and specification packs.
- Understanding of materials and finishes commonly used in kitchenware, including ceramics, glass, metals and plastics.
- Awareness of relevant manufacturing processes and quality considerations.
- High level of proficiency in relevant design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (Rhino/ SolidWorks an advantage).
- Curiosity in AI.
