We're looking for a dedicated and driven Finance Manager to join our Food Controllership team, supporting our growing Franchise & Partners business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the UK's most iconic retailers as we continue our transformation journey and modernise our finance capabilities.
Combining technical excellence with commercial insight, you'll lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, a strong control environment and meaningful business insight.
Working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, you'll help ensure the numbers are right while influencing key decisions that support growth and performance.

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
- Lead, coach and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering an inclusive culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
- Own the financial reporting and month-end close processes for your area, ensuring accuracy, strong governance and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Partner with Commercial Finance, FP&A and key business partners to provide insightful analysis, support decision-making and identify risks and opportunities.
- Strengthen and improve the control environment by embedding guideline financial governance, managing audit requirements and proactively mitigating risk.
- Drive transformation and operational improvement initiatives, supporting finance modernisation, system improvements and the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
- Lead key projects support by strong governance to transform our processes and insight for Franchise & Partners, leveraging systems and automation to increase standardisation and efficiency.
Who you are
Your skills will include
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience in financial reporting, controllership, FP&A or a similar finance environment.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing, motivating and supporting high-performing teams.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with a robust understanding of financial controls, governance and risk management.
- Commercially minded with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights and influence business partners at all levels.
- A continuous improvement approach, with experience driving change, improving processes and embracing new systems and ways of working.
