As Senior Head of Product Management, you will create vision, set direction, and lead delivery of an entire digital product portfolio, typically overseeing over 15-20 product teams. You will create, refine and deliver product strategies and roadmaps, establish budgets, and implement product management disciplines to create innovative, digital products that customers love and drive commercial value at scale. This is a highly customer focussed and highly visible role influencing and directly leading multiple digital teams. You will manage several senior stakeholders across the business to drive alignment on objectives and key results, as well as partner with cross-functional teams to create, refine and execute the product strategy in the context of company objectives. You will play a key role in shaping the Product Management discipline to help bring about an innovative, product-led culture that allows M&S digital products to be built at scale with high agility.

What you’ll do:
- Lead and define the strategic vision for the Stores product portfolio, translating commercial, operational, and digital strategies into clear roadmaps and OKRs that enhance store performance, customer experience, and business outcomes.
- Drive customer-focused innovation in-store, leveraging market insight, operational data, and competitor trends to deliver seamless, engaging, and differentiated experiences across the store network.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business, product, technology, and operations, aligning priorities, facilitating decision-making, and evangelising the product vision and roadmap.
- Ensure end-to-end product lifecycle excellence, including backlog prioritisation, business case development, launch readiness, adoption, and ongoing optimisation with measurable success metrics.
- Build, inspire, and lead high-performing product teams, embedding agile ways of working, mentoring Product Managers, and fostering a product-led culture focused on innovation, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Who you are:
- Extensive product management experience delivering end-to-end strategies and launches across complex, customer-facing portfolios, ideally in store operations, retail technology, or omnichannel environments.
- Strong commercial and operational insight, with the ability to translate customer behaviour, store performance, and market trends into impactful product strategies.
- Proven leadership and influencing skills, with experience aligning cross-functional teams, including operations, technology, and commercial stakeholders, to deliver on strategic priorities.
- Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving expertise, with the ability to define and track key success metrics, optimise store experiences, and drive measurable business impact.
- Exceptional people and leadership skills, including mentoring, team development, and fostering an agile, product-led culture that encourages innovation and collaboration across the Stores domain.
