What you'll do

As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll be at the heart of creating ranges that excite our customers and drive the business forward. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative team, you’ll spot opportunities, influence key decisions and help take brilliant products from first idea to shop floor.

• Turn emerging trends and customer insight into standout, commercial ranges.
• Bring bold product ideas to life alongside Buying, Merchandising, Design, Technology and global Sourcing teams.
• Use sales and market insight to shape winning decisions on product, price, colour, fit and margin.
• Build strong supplier relationships to secure exceptional value, quality and speed to market.
• Take ownership of key moments across the critical path, from product development and Tech Packs to approvals and range sign-off.
• Play an active role in growing the department, our digital offer and our international business.

Who you are

• Buying experience in a fast-moving retail environment and an instinct for what customers will want next.
• A sharp commercial mindset, with the confidence to turn data and insight into action.
• Energy, curiosity and a genuine passion for discovering and developing great products.
• Excellent organisation and critical-path management, with the drive to make things happen.
• A natural ability to collaborate, influence and build trusted relationships across teams and with suppliers.
• Knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, materials and merchandise planning, plus an ambition to think digitally and globally.
