As an Assistant Designer for Per Una, you'll play a key role in bringing this distinctive vision to life across multiple product categories.
Working closely with the Design team, you'll help create commercially successful ranges that are trend‑led, customer‑focused and true to the Per Una brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Under direction from the Designer, conduct inspirational and competitor comp shopping, making recommendations for your ranges to ensure ranges are continually evolving and market‑leading.
- Support the Design team with the coordination of day‑to‑day activities and take a proactive approach to managing tasks and priorities.
- Collaborate with Designers and wider teams to meet critical path deadlines and deliver the right designs, at the right time.
- Create digital trend presentations and CADs using Adobe Creative Suite, Miro and AI tools to accurately represent product for range reviews, whilst maintaining high standards of PLM tech packs.
- Support the briefing of trends and delivery of Design Briefs to indirect suppliers and global sourcing offices when required.
Qualifications
- Proven design experience within a retail or fashion environment, ideally with knowledge of denim and casualwear wash development.
- Strong design and CAD skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate trends into commercially successful product.
- Experience creating design briefs, specifying direct design sourced product and developing high‑quality tech packs in partnership with Design, Buying and Technology teams.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and supplier partners.
- A dynamic, agile and innovative mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment whilst delivering to critical path deadlines.
