Marks Sattin are currently collaborating with an award-winning practice who are going through an exciting period and expanding their Tax team. They are looking to recruit a Personal Tax Assistant Manager.

The role is primarily focused on the provision of high-quality personal tax compliance but includes the provision of ad hoc advice related to the annual compliance cycle.

The Role:

Within this role, you will be managing your own portfolio whilst also being responsible for reviewing the work of more junior tax staff. Duties will mainly include delivery and management of personal tax compliance services while upholding excellent organisational and prioritisation skills which are essential to ensure all deadlines are met.

Day to Day:

  • Provide tax advice on matters including inheritance and capital gains tax planning, as well as trust planning. The exact mix of advisory will be tailored to the strengths of the individual.
  • Clearly articulate complex tax issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Look after client projects through regular communication with the relevant parties and good organisation.
  • Deal with compliance.
  • Collaborate with the wider team.
