We’re looking for a Modelling Lead to drive the development and evolution of financial and pricing models across a range of lending products. This role sits within a specialist modelling team focused on enabling smarter, data-driven decisions that support sustainable profitability.
You’ll lead the design and enhancement of modelling tools, working in a cloud-based analytics environment. Your work will directly influence commercial strategy, financial forecasting, and pricing decisions.
You will work closely with teams across Commercial, Risk, Finance, and Data and champion best practices and foster a collaborative analytics culture, as well as deliver insights that shape strategic decisions and drive commercial success
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve profitability and pricing models across lending products
- Build automation and user-friendly interfaces on modern analytics platforms
- Translate customer performance and business levers into financial outcomes
- Support cross-functional teams with financial analysis and modelling insights
- Maintain robust controls and dynamic monitoring of model performance
- Identify opportunities to improve modelling practices and tools
- Mentor junior analysts and support leadership when needed
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in analytics, forecasting, or financial modelling (preferably in financial services)
- Strong coding skills (Python, SQL, SAS) and experience building models from scratch
- Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet metrics, and lending product economics
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with credit cards, loans, or vehicle finance
