I am working exclusively on a new Regional CEO opportunity working for a large, international logistics business based in London. The role will be responsible for the overall strategy, development, and operational performance of the business across UK & Ireland, and potential expansion into other European geographies.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with the Executive board to set and lead on the strategic direction of the business.
- Oversight of commercial and operational activities to ensure increased profitability, productivity, and market share.
- Develop high quality business and operating plan including operating budgets.
- Make high-quality investment plan to support decision making and increase profitability.
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
- Develop business KPIs to drive culture, optimize efficiencies and control costs.
- Translate strategic priorities into actions to achieve measurable results.
- Seek opportunities to develop business through launch of new products, services or geographies.
- Build trusted relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for the executive team.
- Lead and motivate teams, to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing culture.
- Ensure the company follows all local and international required regulatory obligations.
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.
- Process improvement and automation around processes, organizational culture, systems, products and services to increase efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working at MD/EVP level within multinational Freight Management/Logistics business. Candidates must have an entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational, leadership and coaching skills with ability to develop profitable strategies, implementing vision, and driving transformation. You should be highly experienced in profit and loss management, budgeting, and performance management principles as well as in-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
