What is a Recruitment Consultant?

This is our trainee position, requiring zero experience. All we ask for is maximum effort in return. That doesn’t mean getting up at 5am or making you hustle 24/7 – just being the best version of yourself during the hours in your contract.

Marks Sattin is a leading professional recruitment consultancy. We have 8 offices across the UK and Europe and are dedicated to providing the highest standard of service to our candidates and clients alike.

We’re a privately held recruitment business that specialises in helping businesses find talent in Finance, Accounting, Governance, Compliance, Technology, Change Management, Advisory, and Legal.

We are looking for Recruitment Consultants to join our Private Equity team in London. This desk focuses on helping businesses hire specialist talent in the finance sector. The team has a diverse client base varying in size.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

Any new job is tough – especially if you aren’t 100% sure of what you want to do. Fortunately, we have a range of opportunities once you prove yourself. In the Consultant position, you will be given exposure to a wide range of tasks, including advertising jobs, speaking to candidates, using systems, and building skills that will help you progress in our company. Recruitment can be a rollercoaster – it can be amazing, then awful, then amazing again. Don’t worry, it’s been like that for years – you don’t need to work with everyone, just the candidates and clients that respect you. We believe in meritocracy, so if you are keen to progress – well, you know what to do.
