My client is at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. They’ve instructed me to find an ambitious commercially-savvy, Head of Legal to join their leadership team and be a trusted advisor to the C-suite. An excellent opportunity for a Head of Legal or an experienced Senior Legal Counsel seeking the next step in their career

This role is suited for a capable commercially minded business lawyer with a strong corporate background and exposure to the energy sector to immerse themselves in one of the most exciting transformations within the business. You’ll cover everything from regulatory and infrastructure projects to strategic partnerships, M&A, and complex commercial deals, with the vison of creating a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead legal strategy, risk, and compliance.
  • Advise on regulatory, real estate, and project matters.
  • Draft and negotiate key agreements.
  • Support Corporate, M&A, financing, governance, and disputes.
  • Manage external counsel and legal resources.
  • Liaise with regulators, government, industry, and internal teams.

About You

  • Qualified UK solicitor with strong post-qualification experience.
  • Background advising business in energy, or oil & gas
  • Solid Corporate, M&A experience.
  • Strong commercial judgement, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder skills.
