We are seeking a dynamic Financial Planning Analyst to join our finance team, a leading software development company. This role is critical to driving the company's strategic financial planning, performance analysis, and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with an understanding of the software industry, supporting our growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and KPIs.
- Deliver insights on revenue trends, cost structures, and profitability.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Develop, maintain, and update annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Data-Driven Insights:
- Utilize financial and operational data to provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
- Conduct scenario analysis and what-if modeling to support strategic initiatives.
Performance Metrics:
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, including bookings, billings, recurring revenue, and churn.
- Build and maintain dashboards for tracking critical metrics in collaboration with the BI team.
Investment Analysis:
- Support evaluation of new projects, R&D investments, and potential acquisitions by performing ROI and NPV analysis.
Process Improvement:
- Enhance financial planning processes and tools, leveraging technology to streamline workflows and reporting.
- Collaborate with IT and software teams to integrate financial tools with operational systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
