Marks Sattin are recruiting an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute Deputy Treasurer to join a leading UK based organisation. Reporting to the Group Treasurer, you’ll oversee daily treasury activities including cash flow optimisation, funding, banking relationships, and foreign exchange strategies. This role is central to managing group wide treasury operations, driving financial strategy, and ensuring effective risk management.
Duties:
- Manage a team of 3
- Lead daily cash and liquidity management
- Interest rate risk management, including hedging
- Debt Management
- Refinance project
- FX Management
- Ensure treasury operations meet internal control and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the teams on strategic initiatives
- Maintain and negotiate banking relationships and facility compliance
- Shaping and executing treasury strategy
Ideal Candidate:
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA or ACT qualified
- Proven treasury experience, ideally in a listed or large corporate environment
- Strong understanding of cash management, risk, and banking products
- Proficient with treasury systems and tools
- Leadership skills
