This role offers the opportunity to join an impressive organisation in a senior finance capacity, sitting in the centre of the finance function. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial information while supporting senior stakeholders and leading a high performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead financial reporting activities
- Own the production and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial outputs
- Review group profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow information
- Manage, mentor and develop a qualified finance team
- Act as a key finance contact for senior stakeholders and external advisors
- Support audit processes and ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls and governance
- Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and change initiatives as required
- ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified with strong post qualification experience
- Demonstrable experience of financial reporting
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines in complex, fast-paced environments
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with a pragmatic, commercial mindset
- Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- Detail oriented, delivery focused and improvement driven
