Management Accountant in Trafford

Management Accountant | Old Trafford | 5 days on site | £40k – £45k plus study

A growing property and investment group is looking for a proactive Management Accountant to support consolidated reporting across a portfolio of 30+ entities.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will deliver accurate monthly accounts, strengthen financial processes, and provide insight that supports strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow)
• Deliver variance analysis and performance commentary
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Manage payroll, VAT, bank recs, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with board reporting and year‑end requirements
• Improve processes, controls and efficiency across finance
• Ensure timely statutory and HMRC filings

Requirement:

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Solid management accounting experience; property exposure helpful
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
