A PE‑backed support services business is seeking a proactive and hands‑on Finance Manager to join its team on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. Based in Stockport, this role is office‑based (5 days a week), with some flexibility considered. It's a great opportunity to take ownership of core finance processes in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month‑end close and produce accurate management accounts
- Oversee payroll processing and liaise with external providers
- Manage invoicing and billing cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Support budgeting and cash‑flow forecasting
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial processes
About You
- Qualified or QBE accountant
- Strong experience across month‑end, payroll, and billing
- High attention to detail and strong Excel skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
