About the Role
My client are looking for a Project Coordinator with experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting. You will be working alongside the Project Manager and supporting several different product areas, each with its own Product Manager. The role sits right in the middle of Sales, Design, Production and other internal teams, helping to keep projects organised and moving in the right direction. It is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, likes bringing people together, and is confident managing different priorities at once.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating ongoing manufacturing and engineering projects from start to finish
- Working closely with Sales, Product Managers and Design teams to understand priorities
- Keeping project plans, actions and timelines up to date
- Making sure task owners stay on track and chasing where needed
- Spotting potential delays or issues early and raising them with the Project Manager
- Supporting budget tracking and checking invoices
- Helping keep communication flowing between the different teams involved
- Maintaining clear documentation, dashboards and trackers
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Someone who’s used to supporting or managing projects
- Confident communicator who can work with a wide range of people
- Organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple pieces of work
- Comfortable taking ownership of actions and following things through
- Good working knowledge of project tools (Excel, MS Project, Smartsheets, etc.)
