We are actively seeking a Project Accountant for a well-established company in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.
The main duties include:
- Preparing project budgets
- Preparing weekly/monthly reports on the progress and costs on projects compared to budget
- Identifying and investigating any cost overspends
- Identifying areas of work undertaken that were not in the original quote
- Preparing forecasts of the costs to complete projects
- Preparing the cash flows and monitoring progress compared to quote
Our client is looking for a candidate who has:
- Project and/or cost accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of working for a manufacturing company
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
