A brilliant opportunity to join our clients in Reading on a 6 month contract as their Management Accountant getting involved on an integration project from a large acquisition. An opportunity to get involved in a large acquisition for a £billion turnover powerhouse.
You will be responsible for:
- Getting all finance elements of the integrating and accounting done from day one.
- Managing the plan for acquisition including all pre‑acquisition data requirements, completion date activities and post completion requirements.
- Ensuring everything is in the Group results by working day 5.
- Executing an extensive plan that has been written.
- Ensuring all accounting goes into a separate ledger of the integration entity, including completion accounts, open end balances, reconciliations, month end and more.
- Ensuring that AP is linking through to Accruals correctly whether that is Revenue or Expenses.
- Liaising with external Auditors – providing Audit evidence and undertaking "digging into the data" exercises.
About you:
- ACA qualified for a Top 10 firm.
- At least 2 years post qualified.
- Strong IFRS technical knowledge.
- Available immediately or on short notice.
- Good project manager/multi‑tasker.
- A strong understanding of Debits & Credits is vital.
