This role sits at the heart of a firm‑wide initiative to modernise portfolio reporting, financial data collection and valuation processes. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable Excel‑based solutions that underpin decision‑making across investment and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and enhance advanced Excel templates to capture financial and KPI data across a diverse portfolio
  • Build scalable, structured models with strong data validation and auditability
  • Automate workflows using Power Query, VBA/macros and advanced Excel techniques
  • Support data mapping, reconciliation and integration with wider reporting systems
  • Improve data quality, consistency and governance across financial processes

Candidate Profile

  • 5 years+ experience in financial modelling, data/process design or financial systems
  • Background in Big 4 Transaction Services/Deals/Valuations or a private equity/asset management environment
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience building robust, scalable templates and models
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs and data flows
  • Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA/macros and data manipulation
