About the Role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, driving cost efficiencies, and collaborating with department heads to provide actionable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and commentary.
- Monitor and report on KPIs to support strategic decisions.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost control and financial optimisation.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
- Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc financial analysis.
About You
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Proven experience in a management accounting role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, NetSuite).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is desirable.
